HotRock™ EcoGuard Ice Melt is a premium, pre-hydrated and liquid-coated ice melting solution designed for fast action, reduced environmental impact, and superior performance in extreme cold. Each 50 lb bag contains a powerful blend of sodium chloride and magnesium chloride, enhanced with a proprietary organically derived liquid coating.
The purple-colored granules are pre-treated with a liquid solution made from magnesium chloride, a corn-based derivative, and CMA (Calcium Magnesium Acetate). This advanced coating allows the product to work immediately on contact, reducing waste caused by bounce and scatter while delivering longer-lasting ice control.
